Fonts

You MUST have the Yolngu font installed to view the site properly.

Download YM fonts
Special cross platform fonts have been developed for working in Yolngu languages. One can be downloaded from this site free of charge. It is called AYolngu NTU.

Installing YM fonts

Windows

• Right click on the font link (AYolNTU.ttf).
• Save the font to a folder (or somewhere, just remember where) on your Computer.
• Next, click on the START button, then select SETTINGS then CONTROL PANEL.
• When the Control Panel Window pops up, Double Click on FONTS.
• When the FONTS window pops up, select File then Install New Font...
• A Add Fonts window will pop up, just go to the folder that you saved the Font to, select the Font and then click on OK. Now the Font is installed.

Now you can use the Font in programs the utilize Fonts. Make sure that you install the font first, then restart the Yalu Website.

Macintosh - Installing Truetype Yolngu matha font on your Mac

• Download the Stuffit file (A_Yolngu_NTU.tt.sit) to your desktop.
• Double-click on the file to uncompress.
• Find your "fonts" folder on your hard drive. It should be under the "System Folder".
• Select the font file (A Yolngu NTU.tt) on your desktop and copy it to your "fonts" folder.
• Restart your computer.
